Activities around Kamp-Bornhofen
Kamp-Bornhofen is the ideal start for several different hiking routes. Experienced hikers can start here on the “Rheinsteig” hiking trail or “Rhein-Burgen” hiking trail.
Nature enthusiast’s hikers explore the nature trail “Middle Rhine” with various educational boards about rare animals and plants. The trail leads from Kamp via the Filsener Ley to Filsen. If you cannot make the return journey, you can easily return by bus or train.
How about exploring the Mittelrheintal by boat? Just 200m from our hotel are boat docks from KD-line and the Loreley line. Drive to Rüdesheim and stroll through the famous Drosselgasse or take the cable car to the Niederwalddenkmal (day trip).
Also the legendary Loreley can be discovered during a ship trip. Drive to St. Goarshausen and have the opportunity to explore the famous Loreley Rocks.

Explore the place where Moselle and Rhine river meet: The “Deutsches Eck” (German Corner) in Koblenz with its huge equestrian statue of Germany’s first emperor “William I”. Take the cable car and discover the impressive “Ehrenbreitstein” fortress or visit the old center of Koblenz.
Also lovers of castles will get their money’s worth: Visit the best preserved castle in the Mittelrheintal, the Marksburg in Braubach or the Enemy brothers in Kamp-Bornhofen next to plenty of other castles in the area.
